MEI Rigging and Crating Announces MRI Cold Storage Services
Plano , TX– Sept 12, 2011 – MEI Rigging and Crating, a leading provider of rigging and machinery moving services, announced that effective August 2011, it offers Medical MRI Cold Storage Services at its Plano Texas Facility, in addition to its MRI Moving services. “MEI has been expanding its Medical Machinery Moving business, especially MRI moving”, notes General Manager Kurt Wozniak, “ and our MRI customers expressed a strong need for cold storage of MRI magnets. We have installed new chiller and compressor systems in our Dallas warehouse to provide temporary MRI cold storage.” MEI monitors MRI magnets daily, checking for helium levels, compressor operation, and magnet shield temperatures. MEI has chillers and compressors that are capable of supporting multiple MRI Units in Cold Storage.
